before using your Square Box Cutter please use the TCT

Circular Cutter (sold separately) as instructed to produce

a circular hole.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

• Ensuringyourdrillhasbeenswitchedoffandunplugged

from the power source, insert the square box cutter into

your SDS+ drill ensuring ﬁrst that the SDS+ Shank (1)

has been adequately lubricated.

• Plugyourdrillbackintothepowersourceandswitchon.

Insert the Guide Rod (3) into the hole(s) made by the pilot

drill (this was made when using your circular cutter).

• Ensurethesquarecutterispositionedexactlywherethe

squareholeisrequired.Ensureyourdrillisin‘hammer

only’ mode and start drilling.

• Finallyremoveanydustordebris.

NOTE: We do not recommend drilling the hole to a depth

exceeding 60mm.

• Safetygogglesandglovesshouldbewornatalltimes

when assembling or using the square box cutter.

• Eardefendersshouldbewornwhendrillingandifyou

are drilling with a dust extraction system you should

ensure you wear an appropriate dust mask.

• Ensureyourdrillisswitchedoffandunpluggedfromthe

power source before inserting or removing your square

box cutter.

NOTE: This product is for use only with an SDS+ drill with a

ROTO-STOPfeature.

PRIOR TO USE

• Yoursquareboxcutterisdesignedtobeusedin

NOTE: Yoursquarecutterisidealforuseinbreezeblock,

concrete block (max 45 Newtons) and standard bricks

but is NOT recommended for use on engineering brick

and wet/green masonry.

unoricecarré.Assurez-vousquelaperceuseesten

mode‘percussionseulement’etcommencezleperçage.
